Prepare Stakeholders
Create Strategy Team represented by leadership, teaching staff, parent community and students.
Create Focus teams within each division and interested parents within the community.
Research is imperative as it will inform the strategy developed - the above sets the scene for the research as it does not just fall from out of nowhere.
Remember to bring about successful change you need to prepare the community.
What I found helpful is to first explain why is it needed, what is done with the information - and if you have time let the groups reflect for 5 -10 minutes before answering the survey or group discussion.
